Manifesting Is Not Enough.
You Need To Take Action!
I was really touched this week by a video I saw on social media. The basic premise was, if you want something, you are the only one who can make that happen. Unfortunately, we can't just think something into reality, we have to take action.
So often you hear people complain about how disappointed they are with their lives, yet when you ask what they are going to do about it, they don't know.
This definitely shows up when people are struggling with the bigger goals, wanting wealth and abundance but not having a clear plan in place to be able to achieve it.
Practicing manifesting is great, putting your dreams and desires out into the universe, but doing this isn't actually going to magically make something happen. Some people might believe in this, but I feel there is more to it than that.
Writing it down, adding whatever you are wanting to a vision board, compiling and plan and then TAKING ACTION is where I see people getting results.
Reverse engineer your goal, you know what you want, so work your way backwards. What do you need to do in order to reach that goal?
If you have anything in your life that you want to change, you want to do better, you want to bring in, set a goal and a clear intention. Create a plan to work backwards from what you want to where you are now. Put in little steps, certain actions to be done by a specific date.
Setting structure around your goals leaves less room for confusion and procrastination. You aren't wondering what you have to do, by when, and can focus on getting it done. Breaking a big goal down into small chunks helps to prevent overwhelm too.
It's important as well to envision what success feels like and looks like, so when you do get there you can acknowledge it.
Have that big vision goal at the end of all of your hard work, so you know what you are trying to achieve and then plan away, using the SMART concept (Small, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely).
I'm off to set my goals for 2019 right now!
I would love to hear from you, what is your vision for 2019? And can I support you with anything to move forward successfully on this?
